We are located in beautiful Essex Junction, the crossroads of Chittenden County, nestled in the heart of northwestern Vermont. We enjoy close proximity to Burlington and major highways, but are also near the charming village of Essex Junction. Our desirable, walkable grounds encourage fresh air and exercise and we are proudly adjacent to The Essex Resort and Spa. Our program embraces a mindful, non-pharmacological approach, based on research and best practices.

We aspire to provide the best possible life for our assisted living and memory care residents. Our days start with appropriate, nutritious meals, senior-friendly exercise, meaningful activities that provide purpose, entertainment, trips, and music, and ends with a good night’s sleep. Our nursing staff is unobtrusively there, to help with any health care needs that may arise. Our residents are our family and therefore, we want to see them thrive each and every day.

When Home isn't Enough: Coping with Guilt in the Care Journey

This session will explore the difficult but common feelings of guilt and uncertainty that arise when home is no longer the safest or most supportive option for a loved one. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the care journey, practical tools for emotional support, and a renewed sense of compassion for themselves and others.
